Are Delta 8 gummies Indica or Sativa?

Delta-8 tetrahydrochlorocannabinol also called Delta-8 THC is a psychoactive substance found in Cannabis Sativa plants. Delta-8 THC is the highest-quality cannabinoid that has been discovered naturally within cannabis.

Delta-8 and CBD are both cannabinoids, but Delta-8 THC is more closely related to Delta-9 THC. CBD does not typically have psychoactive or cerebral effects. Whereas our Delta-8 gummies can, depending on dose and individual experience.

The first step of the process involves extracting the CBD from legal hemp flowers or biomass. A few different methods are commonly used to achieve that - the most popular and efficient ones are CO2 extraction and steam distillation. Once the CBD is extracted, it is refined into a pure CBD isolate, the best material to make Delta-8 THC.

Then the CBD isolate is dissolved in a solvent to improve the viscosity. Next, acid is added to reduce the pH of the extract. After a few hours, both the acid and the solvent are neutralized and removed. At this point, the extract still contains the Delta-9 THC, which needs to be at the 0.3% level to comply with legal requirements.

Using a process called isomerization, almost all of the leftover Delta-9 THC is converted into the desired Delta-8 THC. Once that's done the product is refined once again to remove any leftover impurities.
