Are your products for children?
No. Our products are intended for adults 21 and over. Keep all products out of reach of children and pets.
Can I take CBD when I’m pregnant or nursing?
We recommend consulting your physician before consuming CBD products.
Is there an expiration date on CBD oil?
Like any oil, light and humidity can cause rancidity or spoilage. Gold Leaf Collection CBD hemp oil extract should be stored as recommended and used within its suggested expiration date of 18 months from the manufacture date.
Will Gold Leaf Collection products show up on a drug test?
Our broad-spectrum and isolate products are made to contain 0.0% THC. Full-spectrum and whole-spectrum products, hemp flower and pre-rolls contain small amounts of THC and may cause a positive drug test.
Drug tests vary, so we suggest talking with your employer or physician before using any hemp product.
What is hemp oil, and is it different from CBD?
Both are made from the same plant, cannabis, but hemp oil is cold-pressed from hemp seeds and contains very little CBD. CBD oil or hemp extract oil is made from the flowers, leaves and stems of the hemp plant and contains CBD and other cannabinoids.
What are cannabinoids and cannabidiol (CBD)?
Hemp produces many different compounds.
These compounds can be found in other plant species, but more than sixty of them are specific to the cannabis plant. Scientists call these compounds “cannabinoids.” Cannabinoids found in hemp are derived from the aerial parts of the plant. The best known of these is cannabidiol (CBD).
How do Gold Leaf Collection broad spectrum products become Zero-THC?
Our broad spectrum products start with hemp extract that goes through an extraction and purification process. This process removes waxes, chlorophyll and pigments, and it removes THC. The result is a broad spectrum hemp extract with 0.0% THC that keeps other cannabinoids such as CBD, CBG, CBN and CBC.
How much do I take?
Many people start with 10-25mg a day.
It is important to stick to “start low and go slow” when you first start taking CBD products. We recommend giving a serving size 3-5 days before adjusting it.

How should I store my products?
CBD hemp extract oil products should be stored properly to help maintain their freshness and shelf life. An opened CBD hemp extract oil product is best used within about 6 months. Store products in a dark, cool place.
Can you take too much CBD oil? Are there any side effects to taking CBD oil?
Serving sizes vary from person to person. It is important to stick to “start low and go slow” when you first start taking CBD products. We recommend giving a serving size 3-5 days before adjusting it. Possible side effects include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, dry mouth, and diarrhea. If you experience any side effects, we advise decreasing the amount of CBD you’re taking in a single serving. If you experience ongoing side effects, please discontinue use and consult your physician.
Can I take Gold Leaf Collection CBD products with my medications?
We recommend speaking with your physician before taking CBD with your medications.
What is the oil amount delivered in one dropper of tincture?
A full dropper (1ml) of 500 mg Orange Awakening Hemp Extract/CBD oil will pull approximately 17mg of CBD.
A full dropper (1ml) of 1000 mg Mint Tincture oil will pull approximately 33 mg of CBD.
How many servings does my tincture bottle of hemp extract/CBD oil contain?
Each 1oz bottle contains 30 1mL servings.
