How do I know how much to give my pet?
Giving CBD oil for dogs and other pets is quite straightforward. You simply have to count the amount of CBD oil drops that you give to your pet.
Our broad-spectrum CBD oil contains 500mg of quality CBD hemp extract in a 30ml bottle. That means each milliliter contains around 17 mg of CBD. As each dropper holds 20 drops on average, each drop should have a bit less than 1mg of CBD in it.
There is no universal rule when it comes to the amount of CBD oil your pets should get. CBD effectiveness is usually affected by a number of factors like the metabolism of your pet, its size, weight, and the sort of conditions it has.
In general, it's best to administer 1mg of CBD oil per 10lbs of your pet's body weight. So, to illustrate the point, a pug weighing 20lbs should be more than happy with two drops each day. On the other hand, a mastiff that weighs over 150lbs will require much more than that to feel the full effects of CBD - around 15mg of CBD, which translates to most of the dropper.
While most dogs should accept CBD oil orally, some might be a bit pickier than others. However, you'd be happy to know that our pet formula can be easily added to kibble or even pet treats.
How do I give CBD oil to my pet?
The most common way is to administer it orally, by either placing the required amount on a spoon and feeding it to your pet or mixing it with peanut butter to make it more enticing. You might also use the dropper to directly put the oil in your pet's mouth, but some pets may be a bit resistant to this method.
Anytime the dropper comes into contact with your pet’s mouth, be sure to wash the dropper afterwards. Saliva has a tendency to degrade CBD.
Another way to administer CBD oil is to add it to your pet's food. Just mix it in with the kibble or wet food, and they should eat it without any problems. You can also add CBD oil to pet treats.
Just remember to stick to the recommended amounts, and always start with a low amount to see how your pet reacts.
How long does it take for the CBD oil to kick-in?
CBD will enter the system quicker if the oil comes in direct contact with their tongue. In general, you can expect the first effects to manifest within 30 minutes to an hour.
How long does the CBD oil last?
The effects of the CBD oil will last anywhere from four to six hours. Depending on their intake and weight, this can fluctuate.
If you're asking how long a single bottle will last, that depends on your pet's size. A 25lb dog will need a much smaller dose than a 100lb giant, so make sure to stock up if your pet is on the larger side.
What are the benefits of CBD for my pet?
CBD oil formulated for pets can provide a large number of potential benefits. Pet CBD oils have the potential to promote healthy stress levels, a state of relaxing calm, healthy skin, a natural sleep cycle, and a healthy, natural metabolism.
And for our senior pets, CBD oils have been shown to support joint health.
Pain and Anxiousness
CBD oil formulated for pets has the potential to support their mental and physical well-being, including pain from injuries or aging, or anxiousness.
Many animals such as dogs or cats are not really used to the loud noises caused by fireworks and other pyrotechnics. As a result, they may feel scared or anxious, and their behavior can be affected as a result.
For example, some dogs may start shaking or drooling excessively, while others may hide or try to escape. Some may even start urinating inside the house or chewing on furniture. Cats may also be affected by fireworks and show signs of distress including increased vocalization and hiding.
CBD oils may help alleviate some of the anxiousness, by promoting a feeling of calm in your pet and helping him or her relax.
Stressful Vet Visits
Vet visits can be very taxing for some pets, especially if they have had bad experiences in the past or are generally anxious. The sights, smells, and sounds of the vet clinic may trigger their anxiety, and they may start showing signs of discomfort such as pacing, panting, or hiding.
CBD pet formulas may help reduce your pet's anxiouness at the vet and make him or her feel more comfortable during the visit. A calmer pet often results in a quicker session with the vet, which directly translates to less stress for your furry companion.
Transporting your pet, whether it is by car, plane, or train, can be a very stressful experience for them. They may start showing signs of anxiousness and fear, such as panting, whining, or pacing. Even more so if they're going through a major change in their life, such as moving to a new home.
CBD oils formulated for pets may help reduce some of the stress and anxiousness they're feeling, making the whole experience more enjoyable for both them and you.
Many pets, especially dogs, may start showing signs of distress when separated from their owner. They may start pacing, barking, or whining excessively, and may even try to escape. This can be a very stressful experience for both you and your pet, as it can damage your relationship and cause behavioral problems.
CBD oils formulated for pets may help reduce some of the anxiousness and stress your pet is feeling, making it easier for them to cope with separation.
Having Guests Over
For some pets, having guests over can be a very stressful experience. They may start barking, pacing, or hiding, and their behavior may become disruptive. This can be a very frustrating experience for you, your guests, as well as your pet.
Administering some CBD oil may help your dog or cat feel more relaxed and comfortable with newcomers, making the party experience more enjoyable for everyone.
What is hemp?
Hemp is a variety of the Cannabis sativa plants grown specifically for industrial and medicinal purposes. It is tall and has few branches, with long, narrow leaves. The hemp plant is very versatile, as it can be grown to produce a high-quality fiber used to make textiles and rope, or it can be refined into an oil and used in a variety of products.
Hemp is known to yield CBD at 20% or more. To abide by legal regulations and be sold legally, it must maintain less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC content.
All of our products are made from premium-quality American-grown hemp.
What is CBD?
The main active ingredient in our pet formula is CBD. CBD, short for cannabidiol, is one of over 113 active cannabinoids that can be found in the hemp plant.
Creating a CBD product requires a few specific steps. First, industrial hemp containing high levels of CBD (but little to no Delta-9 THC) is cultivated. Once the hemp plants are ready, CBD can be then extracted through a variety of different methods. Some extraction processes can involve using carbon dioxide to isolate the cannabinoids from the hemp, while others rely on steam or a solvent to get the job done.
The resulting extract can be then further processed to remove the traces of Delta-9 THC or even other cannabinoids as well.
CBD oil may then be utilized in a variety of ways through a multitude of products, be it for oral or topical use
Our Hemp Extracts are made with broad-spectrum CBD.
What is CBD oil for pets?
CBD oil for dogs or cats is a hemp extract explicitly made for animals. Many recent surveys and anecdotal evidence continue to come out about CBD oil's benefits for pets. It is safe for daily consumption and free from dairy, shellfish, tree nuts, sugar, and soy.
We keep our pet formula as clean as possible because your pet deserves the very best. While some formulations are marketed specifically as dog CBD oil, our pet formulation operates the same for all breeds and animals. So if you're on the hunt for dog CBD oil, you came to the right place!
Which CBD oil is best for pets?
CBD isolates and broad-spectrum goods are generally safe for pets. However, broad-spectrum may be the better option due to its abundance of other beneficial cannabinoids. Make sure to check for the certificate of analysis that assures the ingredients are regulated.
Is broad-spectrum or full-spectrum CBD oil used in the pet formula?
Our pet formula is made with organic broad-spectrum CBD. Broad-spectrum products are the middle ground between the whole-plant extract and CBD isolate (pure CBD only).
Unlike full-spectrum CBD oil, broad-spectrum CBD oil doesn't contain any Delta-9 THC. This is very important when it comes to certain types of pets such as dogs or cats, as THC can be toxic to them. THC may cause a plethora of unwanted effects in pets - from disorientation to vomiting and worse. If you have any full-spectrum CBD products for personal use, avoid any chance of your pet ingesting it.
The only CBD products safe for pets are those based on broad-spectrum oil or CBD isolate. However, broad-spectrum products may be more effective, as they contain many beneficial compounds and substances besides the CBD itself.
Does your pet formula contain THC?
Our broad-spectrum hemp oil contains 0.0% Delta-9 THC traditionally found in hemp and cannabis plants. As such, you don't have to worry about your pet having adverse experiences from ingesting THC. There is also no need to worry about your companion getting high - unlike Delta-9 THC, CBD is non-intoxicating.
Is CBD safe for dogs and cats?
Yes, CBD oil that’s been formulated for pets is safe for dogs and cats. You’ll find other oils on the market have additives that are not safe for dogs and cats, so make sure to prioritize high-quality products when you buy CBD oil for pets online.
Make sure to check in with your veterinarian before using CBD oil if your dog is on medication, or suffering from a specific medical condition. Start your pet off with a low amount and slowly increase once observing how they react.
Is CBD Oil for Animals Legal?
CBD products are legal under the 2018 Farm Bill. It is possible to sell and buy CBD products, as long as those CBD solutions don't exceed the federal limit of 0.3% Delta-9 THC. Our pet formula contains 0.0% THC.

I have a 12 year old yellow labrador and an 18 year old orange tabby and they love it and can move so much better on this. They think they are youngsters.
This CBD helps with my one and a half year old dog’s epilepsy more than anything else. She went from having multiple seizures a month to only having one every other month, if even that. Her fur has also been the softest it’s ever been. I can honestly say I’ve never seen another dog with fur as shiny and soft as hers, which is a benefit I didn’t even think to expect.
We recently started using the pet CBD for our anxious dog. We give it to him with his dinner and his anxiety has gotten so much better! So grateful for this product! Thank you.
Our cockapoo, Oscar Meyer, is 13 years old, and is just starting to slow down, so we decided to supplement his diet with LCG CBD. He LOVES it and can't wait till I squirt a dropper in his bowl each day! We can't yet see any physical changes, but we know that it is supporting his whole body.
I have a 13 yr old large breed dog and she has responded so well to this product. Her mobility and pain seem to be so much better. She even has a spunk to her that I havent seen in some time.
My 13 year old yorkie has been slowing down a lot over the past year (tough for him to do the stairs, run, jump, etc). It had gotten to the point of him just laying in his bed & he was clearly uncomfortable. I was a bit skeptical about this product, but am happy to report that after a week he is clearly more comfortable. He is walking around now & wagging his tiny tail again. Nice to see him on the go again. I mix about 5 drops with a bit of peanut butter & he licks it right up!!
I admit I was skeptical when I bought this for our 10 year old Yellow Lab. She's always been an active dog and in the past couple years is showing her age and most recently starting to limp when going up and down stairs - which has really slowed her down. I bought this CBD pet formula with no expectations, but it has been a HUGE turn around for our dog. We give her 1/4 ml morning and then again at night - she actually looks forward to it now! One bottle lasts us about 60 days. After 3 weeks, it was clear that she was much less anxious and her limping disappeared. After 4 or 5 weeks, I called her to go outside and she RAN UP THE basement stairs! Something she hasn't done in more than 2 years. I'M A BELIEVER!
