What is hemp?

Hemp is a variety of the Cannabis sativa plants grown specifically for industrial and medicinal purposes. It is tall and has few branches, with long, narrow leaves. The hemp plant is very versatile, as it can be grown to produce a high-quality fiber used to make textiles and rope, or it can be refined into an oil and used in a variety of products.

Hemp is known to yield CBD at 20% or more. To abide by legal regulations and be sold legally, it must maintain less than 0.3% THC content.

All of our products are made from American-grown hemp.

Is the hemp plant smokable?

Yes, when dried and cultivated correctly, hemp flower is 100% safe to smoke. Unlike tobacco cigarettes, there are no harmful additives that create a high-risk factor.

What is smokable hemp called?

You'll find Smokable hemp sold in three main forms: cigarettes, pre-rolls, and flowers. It's also known as hemp nugs, hemp flower, CBD flower, CBD buds, CBD rich hemp flower, and we're sure the internet has come up with much more!

What is CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a compound known as a cannabinoid and is one of over 113 active cannabinoids that are found in the hemp plant.

Through lab processes, we are able to draw out these cannabinoids, resulting in CBD-rich hemp oil. This oil may be utilized in a variety of ways. It is used to create both oral and topical products, like our CBD massage oil! CBD hemp extract is available in multiple forms, and you can explore our shop to discover all the different options.

    Hemp Flower and CBD

Posted by Ashton on Apr 30th 2020

I am a family friend of one of the women who founded Lake Country Growers. This is the only place I trust to provide me with quality CBD products. Shipping was super fast, I was provided with 2 pre-rolls in a neat canister, and it came in a nice resealable pouch. I ordered the CBD oil for a friend who has problems with seizures, he can already tell a difference with how he feels daily. he has issues with migraines as well and this helps. I am very pleased and will be back to order more soon. Thank you Lake Country Growers!
