What are the benefits of CBD oil?

CBD has become one of the most sought-after compounds in the natural health and wellness industry. Here are some of the problems CBD oils may help you with:

Pain

Due to its properties, many people use CBD oil to deal with various forms of pain, sorness, and discomfort in their body. CBD may also have antioxidant properties, meaning it may help to protect against free radical damage that can otherwise lead to serious health problems.

Sleep

CBD oil can be taken in the evenings to help you relax, fall asleep, stay asleep throughout the night, and wake up refreshed and ready to take on the day.

Anxiousness, Worry, & Stress

Anxiousness, worry, and stress are common issues that millions of Americans struggle with on a daily basis. While it can't replace professional help, CBD oil may help create a sense of calm and reduce negative feelings while also boosting your mood.

Skin

CBD may help to reduce redness, swelling, and itchiness due to a variety of skin concerns and issues.

Overall wellness

CBD is used for various applications that may support your daily routines and healthy lifestyle. Since CBD interacts with the endocannabinoid system in your body, it’s commonly used by individuals that want to enhance their rest, relaxation, muscle recovery, mood and overall well-being.

Many people will take CBD tinctures throughout the day to support their mindset and sense of peace. Additionally, active individuals and people that struggle with pain often take CBD to support recovery and muscle tension. CBD oil is a versatile option for anyone that wants to set themselves up for success every day. From a restful evening to a productive workday, CBD is a solution that may help you feel your best.

How to take CBD oil?

CBD is best absorbed sublingually under the tongue. Different CBD products have varying effects and absorption rates, so take your time when deciding which form is best for you. In some cases, CBD oil may be more effective if used topically or applied directly to the skin. Simply place a drop or more under your tongue, and hold the oil there without swallowing for 30-60 seconds.

How to calculate your optimal CBD oil amount.

While CBD is non-lethal in high amounts, it can be very hard to gauge the proper dosage to reap the benefits you desire. There is no one-size-fits-all recommendation, as it depends on your body weight, tolerance, and the reason for taking CBD. It's recommended to start with the lowest amount possible, and slowly increase until you find what works for you.

If you purchase a bottle that is 1500mg, you will likely need less than you would with a 500mg bottle. For our customers that have more severe challanges, we recommend buying a higher-strength bottle to offset the need to increase daily amounts. This will help your tincture last longer!

For amount recommendations, you can start by looking at the product’s label. Each product will state the CBD content, as well as the amount of CBD per serving. The average amount ranges from 5 mg to even 25 mg, so it's better to start slow.

Possible adverse experiences of CBD

There is a risk of minor symptoms, such as:

  • dry mouth,
  • diarrhea,
  • nausea,
  • changes in appetite,
  • fatigue,
  • vomiting,
  • drowsiness,
  • dizziness,
  • changes in mood,
  • anxiety.

If you experience these symptoms, it's recommended to lower your dosage.

The more serious concern of CBD is the risk of drug interactions. As with any medical or dietary supplements, it's possible for CBD to react with other medications, especially blood thinners. Moreover, it has been shown that CBD oil may increase liver enzymes, so those with liver disease should remain especially careful. As such, it's always advised to consult with a doctor before introducing any new substance into your system.

How long do the effects last with CBD oil?

The effects after taking CBD can differ depending on the method you use to ingest it, as well as your body's ability to process it. For example, the onset of effects can be felt as soon as half an hour after taking CBD oil sublingually. However, if you're ingesting CBD oil, it may take a few hours to feel the full effects of the product.

As a rule of thumb, the effect can last between 2 and 8 hours, but it all depends on many of your personal characteristics, such as your metabolism, when and what you've eaten that day, as well as your overall health.

What is hemp?

Hemp, or industrial hemp, is a plant that’s in the botanical class of Cannabis sativa that’s grown for industrial or medicinal use. Our products are made from American-grown hemp. Legal regulations state that hemp must maintain less than 0.3% of THC content to be brought to market legally. Hemp plants are estimated to yield 20% or more of CBD, which is extracted from the plant without the THC counterparts. All of our CBD tinctures are federally legal.

What is CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a compound known as a cannabinoid and is one of over 113 active cannabinoids that are found in the hemp plant. To create a CBD product, the cannabinoids are extracted from hemp; it is believed that the cannabinoids interact with receptors found throughout your body’s endocannabinoid system.

Through lab processes, we are able to draw out these cannabinoids, resulting in CBD-rich hemp oil. This oil may then be utilized in a variety of ways through a multitude of products, be it for use orally or topically. Our Premium Hemp Extracts are made with broad-spectrum CBD, meaning they do not contain any THC.

Can CBD make you high?

Unlike THC, CBD oil cannot make you high. THC and CBD are both cannabinoids, but they are very different. CBD doesn't cause a euphoric “high” or psychoactive effect. It will not impair your ability to think clearly, nor will it make you feel "stoned."

What is broad-spectrum CBD and how is it different from full-spectrum CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is available in a few different forms, including full-spectrum CBD and broad-spectrum CBD. Both of these products contain CBD as well as other cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, and plant compounds. However, the difference between broad-spectrum CBD and full-spectrum CBD is in the content of THC. Full-spectrum CBD products can legally contain up to 0.3% THC while broad-spectrum products have 0.0% THC. There's also CBD isolate, the so-called pure CBD, which is essentially a refined form of CBD that does not contain any other compounds.

What is CBD oil?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant. It is believed that cannabinoids interact with cannabinoid receptors found throughout your body’s endocannabinoid system, which is responsible for maintaining homeostasis, affecting aspects of cognition, mood, immune function, sleep, pain, appetite, hormone regulation, and more, as it plays a significant role in the response to endogenous and environmental insults, synaptic plasticity, and central nervous system (CNS) development.

To create CBD products, cannabinoids must be extracted from the hemp plant. There are a few different methods for extracting the cannabinoids from the plant material, including extracting the cannabinoids using carbon dioxide, ethanol, and isopropyl alcohol. After extraction, the cannabinoids are combined with a carrier oil.

What are the downsides of CBD oil?

The most significant problem related to CBD these days is the fact that the CBD market is still new and not entirely regulated.

As with any other new product on the market, CBD oil is sometimes mislabeled and poorly manufactured. As the market continues to grow, there will be more and more companies trying to make a quick buck off of unsuspecting consumers. As such, it's imperative to do some research and learn how to recognize reputable brands and high-quality products.

As a rule of thumb, you should always look for products that are third-party tested and verified. This means that the products are third-party tested to ensure that they're safe, pure, and effective. Moreover, it’s important to learn how to read labels and know where CBD comes from. It's best to aim for American-grown organic hemp that's free from pesticides, herbicides, and other harmful additives. These factors are usually a good indication of quality and purity.

Is CBD legal?

CBD is legal on the federal level in the US as long as it comes from the hemp plant and contains less than 0.3% THC. However, there are also state medical marijuana laws, and some American states still consider CBD illegal, even if it comes from hemp and has no THC whatsoever. For example, in Texas, any amount of THC is illegal, even if it's just 0.3% that's considered legal on the federal level. Countries around the world also have their own laws and regulations regarding the substance. As such, even if you buy and use CBD oil legally in your state, make sure to do your research before traveling to any other state or abroad.
